I worked directly with Timberland to come up with the creative for a campaign to launch two new boots, re-imagined designs based on classic Timberland boots, the Original Yellow Boot and the 1978 Hiker.
The campaign highlights the heritage of the Timberland brand, a hard wearing water proof work boot born in the outdoors and adopted by the inner city. Both boots and both locations are reflected in a puddle as our hero strides ahead on his journey.
I directed the subsequent film, shot in two locations in Montreal Canada, and on a blue screen film stage.
The fall launch of these boots also included an extensive print and OOH campaign in New York, Chicago and LA
which I also oversaw as Creative Director.
