About

Rupert is a British born director and creative director, currently living and working in New York. His work is characterised by a creative approach to live action and visual effects, often informed by his background as a designer.

He has been commissioned to direct commercials, music videos, channel idents, feature film titles and visuals for live events.

He helmed a mind bending spot filmed in Montreal for Timberland; sped around the South of France with Ford; and released an electric tiger to roam the streets of Cape Town for Coral. He also created slick CG animated spots for adidas, Samsung and Bentley. He designed the titles to the Tom Hardy gangster movie “Legend”, visuals for Daft Punk, and also created “Eefer,” the beloved purple animated robot that helped make Channel 4 in Britain even cheekier than it already was

Rupert recently wrote and directed his first dramatic short 'Charlie Cloudhead' starring Paul Higgins and Daisy Haggard. The film was a finalist in the Homespun Yarns competition and has screened at a host of prestigious international festivals.
